A large bulk bag of washed sharp sand (coarse grit sand) is a primary construction aggregate delivered in a heavy-duty, woven polypropylene bulk bag (typically containing ~850kg to 1000kg). Washed to remove clay, silt, and fine impurities, its sharp, angular grains provide excellent mechanical interlocking and free-draining properties. It is extensively used in block paving laying courses, floor screeds, mortar mixes, and soil conditioning where high strength, durability, and effective drainage are essential.
